ProActiv
ProActiv allows Service Providers to automate and link their critical service related business processes. The automation can be achieved across different systems (positioned across eTOM) at the depth and speeds that have not been available before. An important feature of the ProActiv system is it respects and reflects the company structure and yet the information flow can cross many boundaries.

Product Concepts
ProActiv's power and flexibility comes from the realization of carefully developed product concepts including advanced, multi-layered business process modeling, and a library of user configurable interfaces. ProActiv comes rich in pre-integrated logic and interfaces towards a variety of common peer OSS systems, network elements and technologies. The concepts and libraries have been constructed and implemented using technologies like J2EE, application servers, and custom Workflow engine.

ProActiv provides a flow-through communications interface to other systems, such as order management, which allows the automated processing of service requests. It receives and processes requests based on a custom set of business rules defined by the network operator. A range of communications interfaces and protocols with telecommunications network equipment such as exchanges, voicemail, intelligent network systems, and other network elements and management systems are available.

Product Deployment
ProActiv can be quickly deployed with the implementation time being largely dependent on the carrier's rollout schedule and the complexity of the network in which the solution is to be integrated. Through rapid initial implementation, carriers can begin to realize the business benefits earlier and incrementally as the solution is rolled out.

ProActiv supports and implements NGOSS, OSS/J Service Activation and WfMC XPDL initiatives that make investing in the product future proof. Our Product Management and Architecture teams participate in the major industry events and feeding developments into our product plans.

Service Configuration and Activation, and Resource Provisioning are most common application areas for ProActiv. ProActiv’s flexibility, process modeling and it's rich library of interfaces allows the product to be used in other eTOM areas covering most Fulfillment and Assurance verticals.

Tools
ProActiv offers unique business process development and testing facilities. The simple and user friendly modeling tool allows operators to design, prototype and test business processes before introducing them to production. The facility provides significant reductions in integration costs and reduces problems during development. Integration services provided by Redrock can further reduce integration time and costs.

Integration
ProActiv is well established in the Telecom market and can be deployed with a wide range of pre-configured solutions addressing most common network scenarios and technologies in Wireline, Wireless and IP areas. Product flexibility allows it to integrate and drive a variety of other systems (e.g. vendor Element Management systems), integrate with other OSS systems (e.g. Network Inventory) and to perform as a high quality Element Manager towards a variety of technologies. It delivers network transparency and control to the business owner.
